Job summary

South Boston Community Health Center is seeking an Urgent Care Registered Nurse to lead patient flow, triage, and clinical care in a fast-paced community health setting. The role emphasizes collaboration with providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver timely, compassionate care.

The position requires an active RN license, current BLS, and 1+ year of urgent care/ER experience, with preference for ACLS/PALS and EPIC proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience (urgent care, ER, or ambulatory care preferred).
• Knowledge of triage, patient assessment, and EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients on arrival and prioritize care.
• Administer medications, wound care, immunizations, and procedures as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR.
• Support providers with exams, treatments, and procedures.
