Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Colorado is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in urgent care or similar settings, delivering health promotion, diagnosis, and treatment under physician guidance.

You will maintain patient safety, administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with the care team; Colorado license required; BLS/PALS/ACLS within first months; prior urgent care/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of board approved RN program with clinical experience.
• 750 clock hours of faculty planned clinical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Colorado RN license required.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• Urgent care or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Kaiser Permanente quality, safety and emergency policies.
• Provide nursing care with medication administration safeguards.
• Evaluate health status via data collection and assessment.
• Coordinate care and lead health care team communications.
• Advocate for patients and maintain safety throughout care.
