• Evaluate health status through the collection and assessment of health data.
• Analyze reports and records data.
• Use data to identify health care problems and create plans.
• Prioritize patients' needs.
• Triage patients in person or via telephone and implement proper course of action.
• Evaluate emergency situations and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and/or their families.
• Execute delegated medical functions consistent with the medical plan prescribed by a physician.
• Facilitate the coordination and integration of care between health care services.
