Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking an Urgent Care Registered Nurse for a Washington, DC area assignment. The role involves in-person, patient-centered care, rapid assessment, and collaborative teamwork to support positive patient outcomes.

The position requires a valid RN license in the work state, BLS, and experience in urgent care, primary care, or ER. Proficiency in EMR (Epic preferred) and phlebotomy with vaccines are required, with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of work and in good standing
• BLS certification valid beyond the assignment start date
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing
• 1+ year healthcare experience
• EMR proficiency, Epic preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• BSN required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide direct clinical care
• Administer oral/injectable/IV/topical medications as applicable
• Perform routine assessments and vital signs; document abnormalities
• Provide vaccinations, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing as needed
• Document patient history, care, and outcomes in the EMR
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects/interactions
• Support patient education and connect patients to resources
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
