Job summary

Lexington Medical Center’s Blythewood Urgent Care seeks an RN Clinical Coordinator to provide shift leadership, oversee staff, and ensure timely patient admission, transfer and discharge at the new location opening Spring 2027.

A BSN is required with at least 2 years of acute care experience; ADN holders enrolled in RN to BSN/MS programs may qualify. Current SC RN license and national certification in specialty are required or must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of experience in areas of specialty within the past 5 years.
• Refer to Mandatory Certification Requirements for required education/certification for various nursing specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational shift oversight, delegates care to staff and facilitates timely patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborates with other healthcare team members.
• Serves as patient/family advocate and mentors staff to maintain high standards of care.
