Job summary

UrgentVet Westchase is seeking relief veterinarians to cover shifts in our urgent care hospital. Weekday shifts run 3-11pm and weekend shifts 10am-8pm, with open scheduling seven days a week.

Our clinics use cloud-based EMR, an online queue system, and do not require surgery or dentistry. You will lead in a fast-paced environment and provide compassionate client service for canine and feline patients.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college or ECFVG/PAVE required.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care setting and lead by example.

• Veterinarian’s role in the Clinic is a position of leadership, trust, and respect and shall conduct themselves accordingly
• Promote the human-animal bond through exceptional client experience
• Manage multiple patients and varying priorities within allotted timeframes
