Job summary

UrgentVet in Cypress, TX seeks relief veterinarians to cover shifts at our urgent care hospital. Weekday shifts are 3-11pm and weekend shifts are 10am-8pm; we operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No surgery or dentistry required. Our clinics are cloud-based with EMR and online queue.

The role emphasizes leadership, client experience, and ability to manage multiple patients within timeframes. A DVM/VMD degree and active license in good standing are required.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from AVMA accredited college (or equivalent).
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of work.
• Demonstrated leadership, client-focused care, and ability to manage multiple patients within shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinic operations during shifts with professionalism and respect.
• Provide high-quality urgent veterinary care for canine and feline patients.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be working
