Job summary

Overlake Medical Center and Clinics in Issaquah, WA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Urgent Care Clinic. The Nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients, and collaborates with clinic leadership to develop and maintain protocols.

The Clinic Nurse will educate patients and families on health education, disease prevention, and chronic disease management. This is a part-time, evenings role in an ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Washington State RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years of ambulatory clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal/people skills.
• Strong organizational/multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care.
• Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice.
• Collaborate with Clinic Manager and Associate Medical Director on protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health education, disease prevention and chronic disease management.
