Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Urgent Care unit on a part-time night shift (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.). The role emphasizes triage, disease management, and coordination of care across the continuum for oncology and urgent care patients.

Qualifications include a current RN license, BSN or progress toward degree within 3 years, and BLS/ACLS certification. Emergency room experience is highly preferred and the care team collaborates with physicians, families, and community partners.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Nurse License required.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and completed within 3 years from hire date.

Responsibilities

• Triage and provide professional nursing care to urgent care patients.
• Educate patients and families; document assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with the physician team to coordinate patient care across the continuum.
• Support and coordinate with home care and external health services as needed.
