$21.50/hr - $23.00/hr

General Statement Of Duties

The Urgent Care Receptionist greets, instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. They serve as a liaison between patients and medical support staff and are responsible for financial transactions and computer input within the practice management system.

The Schedule For This Position Is
  • Wednesday - Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
  • Saturday - Sunday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
General Duties

This list may not include all duties assigned.

  • Greet Patients And Notify Appropriate Personnel Of Patients Arrival
  • Check-In: Greet patient, verify insurance and demographics, collect co-pay, post payment, update information, manage paperwork, assist with check-out, run eligibility checks, and confirm upcoming appointments.
  • Check-Out: Acknowledge patient, collect payments, answer billing questions, schedule follow-ups, close procedures, update demographics, verify insurance, and answer phones.
