Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a motivated Radiology Technician (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO) to join a fast-paced team. You will perform radiology duties, assist providers, and ensure patient safety in an urgent care environment.

Proficiency in EMR/EHR and CPR certification are required; a diploma/certificate in radiology or equivalent experience is expected. Responsibilities include patient care, medications per policy, and cooperating with clinical staff to support timely diagnostics

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma or certificate from an accredited radiology school and/or equivalent experience.
• Certified Radiology Technician (RT) or Limited Scope Operator (LSO).
• Current healthcare CPR certification from recognized provider.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology duties within the scope of practice per NextCare policies and state rules.
• Assists provider with exams, procedures and direct patient care under supervision.
• Administers medications per policy and adheres to safety protocols.
• May collect urine samples for testing, cast/splint duties, and perform sports physicals.
• Notifies provider and clinic manager of unusual patient events and safety concerns.
• Follows laboratory and accreditation guidelines; proficient in EMR/EHR.
• Performs other duties as assigned per company policy.
