Northwest Healthcare in Tucson seeks a Limited Scope Radiologic Technologist for our Urgent Care Center. You will perform radiographic procedures within licensed scope, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

The role requires adaptability to fast-paced urgent care workflows, accurate patient communication, and adherence to radiation safety standards. Weekend/extended shifts may be required to support staffing needs.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Limited Scope Radiologic Technologist required.
• Experience in urgent care, outpatient, or physician practice settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations under Limited Scope licensure and urgent care protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and explains procedures to ensure understanding.
• Positions patients accurately to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Evaluates images for quality before interpretation submission.
• Maintains and performs quality checks on imaging equipment for safety and readiness.
• Documents procedures and patient interactions in the EHR and radiology systems.
