Job summary

ConvenientMD in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our urgent care team. You will perform radiologic procedures, operate fluoroscopic and portable equipment, and support clinicians with accurate imaging to aid diagnosis and treatment.

In this role you’ll switch between RT and Medical Assistant duties, triage patients, and help maintain a safe, clean exam environment while upholding HIPAA and ConvenientMD protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State licensed with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. We do not accept CPR, ACLS certifications, or online only classes.
• 1–2 years in radiology and patient care, preferably in urgent care or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform radiologic procedures following ConvenientMD and ARRT protocols.
• Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment, ensuring proper radiation safety and ALARA.
• Position patients for optimal imaging and document studies in EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists for study interpretation and coordinate outside imaging requests.
• Switch between RT and Medical Assistant responsibilities; triage patients and provide testing.
• Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and instruments to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Maintain radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed, and support onboarding/training.
