Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (RT) to join our urgent care clinics in New England. You will perform radiologic procedures, operate imaging equipment, and collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.

In this role, you will balance RT duties with Medical Assistant tasks, conduct triage, and provide point‑of‑care tests while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a clean clinical environment. A committed team and patient‑centered culture await you.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • State licensed with ARRT.
  • AHA or ARC BLS certification; CPR, ACLS online classes not accepted.
  • 1–2 years in radiology and patient care.
  • Compassionate, authentic, patient‑focused.
  • Proactive communicator with colleagues and patients.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Technically savvy; proficient with MS Office and multiple systems.
  • Driven and self‑motivated; able to work independently.
  • Trustworthy with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and perform radiologic procedures per protocols.
  • Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment with ALARA safety.
  • Position patients for imaging and document in EMR/PACS.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and coordinate outside imaging.
  • Switch between RT and Medical Assistant duties.
  • Conduct patient triage, including vital signs and history.
  • Provide laboratory and diagnostic testing.
  • Perform point‑of‑care testing (strep, flu, RSV, glucose, urinalysis).
  • Maintain clean, sterile exam rooms and instruments.
  • Support patient‑centered care and HIPAA compliance.
  • Manage radiology supply inventory and submit orders as needed.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Participate in quality assurance studies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Assist onboarding and training for new staff.
  • Collaborate to deliver high‑quality care.
  • Communicate effectively with team and external providers.
