Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray services under clinical provider direction.
• Prepare patients for examination including medical history.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient record maintenance.

Skills

Knowledge of X-ray procedures and protocols

Positioning patients properly for X-ray

Identifying equipment problems

Following infection control procedures

Education

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program

High School Diploma or equivalent
