Jobot partners with a leading orthopedic practice in New Haven, CT to hire an urgent care Physician Assistant focused on orthopedics. The role emphasizes evaluating and treating acute injuries, ordering imaging, and performing splinting and injections within a busy orthopedic urgent care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active Connecticut Physician Assistant license or eligibility for Connecticut licensure.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Orthopedic experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat acute orthopedic injuries, fractures, sprains, strains, and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other tests.
• Perform orthopedic procedures, including splinting, casting, injections, reductions, and DME application.
• Develop treatment plans and educate patients on recovery and injury prevention.
• Provide follow-up care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Education
