Job Title: Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) with urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our diverse community of providers in Nassau centers. Our Advanced Practitioners deliver a wide range of clinical services, including treatment of acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. Excellent assessment skills are essential to recognize serious conditions and appropriately refer patients to emergency services, while striving to provide an exceptional patient experience. The pay range for per diem is $90/hour.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of full-time experience in urgent care or emergency medicine for PA/NP candidates.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations.
• Proficiency with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs, and X-rays.
