Job summary

Valley Medical Center & Clinics in Maple Valley, WA, seeks a physician to provide urgent care in a 7‑day open clinic. The role is full‑time with 12‑hour shifts on weekdays and 8‑hour weekend shifts (every other weekend).

Expect 20‑25 patients daily, higher during flu season, with a team of PAAs, MAs and other providers on shift. The position offers a base salary of $275,000 per year plus incentives, with comprehensive medical, vision, dental, life, disability, and flexible spending benefits.

Position Overview

Join our collaborative team to provide urgent care services at the Maple Valley Clinic, a 7‑day open urgent care center in Maple Valley, WA.

Full‑time position, 12‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday and 8‑hour weekend shifts (every other weekend). No call expectations.

Average 20‑25 patients per day, 25‑30 during peak Flu/Cold season. Each shift is supported by 3 PAAs, 5 MAs, and 3 other providers including APPs.

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality measures.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license in Washington State and DEA registration with full prescriptive authority.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in an urgent care environment.

Compensation

Base salary: $275,000 per year plus incentives. Incentives may include productivity, quality/service bonuses, and shift incentives.
