Urgent Care Staff Physician with Leadership Opportunities in Chino, CA

Position Details:

We offer a 1099 model starting at $150/hr, with a $50,000 sign-on bonus for a three-year commitment. Medical Directorship roles are available, providing increased responsibility and an additional $60,000 annually.

About Accelerated Urgent Care:

Voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA, for eight consecutive years. We operate 18 facilities across five counties, including our newest location in Los Angeles County. Candidates must be Board-Eligible (if recently graduated) or Board-Certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities:

1. Practicing Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine, either Board-Eligible (recent graduates) or Board-Certified.
2. Providing urgent care during 12-hour shifts with a 1-hour break.
3. Working full-time: 12 shifts/month plus 2 on-call shifts/month.
4. Managing approximately 4 patients/hour across all ages in a low-acuity setting.
5. Treating common conditions such as colds, coughs, UTIs, and minor injuries.
6. Performing procedures like I&D of abscesses, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
7. Utilizing in-house point-of-care testing and X-ray, with results over-read by a radiologist within 20 minutes.
8. Using VelociDoc EMR with Dragon dictation for documentation.
