Job summary

ConvenientMD’s Exeter, New Hampshire clinic seeks a licensed Paramedic to join as an Urgent Care Technician. You will triage patients, perform essential testing, and support providers in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

The role requires BLS, EMT-paramedic certification, and strong patient communication. You will handle documentation, wound care, immunizations, and collaboration across the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed paramedic with prior IV experience.
• BLS certification required by AHAs/Red Cross; no CPR only classes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient triage with vital signs and history.
• Assist with exams and prepare equipment for testing and procedures.
• Conduct diagnostic/testing procedures (vision, hearing, drug screens, breath alcohol).
• Perform point-of-care tests (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipid, urinalysis).
• Provide cardiac/airway management (ECG, AED, nebulizer, O2).
• Administer wound care, immunizations, medications per regs.
• Maintain EMR documentation and patient histories.
• Keep instruments sterile and workspace stocked for clinic operations.
• Collaborate with clinical team and train new staff.
