Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time urgent care role in Papillion, NE. The position emphasizes autonomy, diverse clinical cases, and meaningful community impact within a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Board certification as PA or NP per role.
• Active BLS and DEA license.
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Willing to obtain DOT certification when needed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in urgent care.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care) when applicable.
• Communicate diagnoses and discharge plans clearly to patients.

Active BLS certification

Willingness to work weekends/holidays

Education

NCCPA certification

ANCC or AANP certification (FNP)

Active DEA license

BLS certification

DOT certification - willingness to obtain
