Job summary

NextCare in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our urgent care team. You will provide care across all ages, manage acute illnesses, and perform procedures in a fast-paced, well-supported environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate plus a monthly productivity bonus, with schedules designed to maximize work-life balance, including no after-hours tasks and advanced schedule release. Clinic hours span 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM seven days a week, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nebraska medical license.
• DEA license must be active or able to obtain.
• Board certification as applicable (PA/NP).
• NCCPA/ANCC/AANP certification for PA/NP roles (FNP preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• EHR proficiency required.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification – willingness to obtain (fees covered).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly.
• Document patient care accurately in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
