Qualifications

• Active PA license(s) in state(s) of practice.
• Active PA national board certification (PA-C).
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• If Illinois practice: active Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire (if applicable).
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and manages treatment plans appropriate for age and condition.
• Orders, performs, and interprets diagnostic studies; prescribes interventions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team; escalates when necessary.
• Maintains accurate EMR documentation and compliant coding/billing.
• Participates in quality, safety, and peer-review activities and onboarding of staff.
• Ensures age-specific care and follows department policies.
