Job summary

UNC Health Urgent Care at Carolina Pointe II in Chapel Hill is seeking a Full-time Urgent Care Physician Assistant to join an interdisciplinary team. You will treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health services for patients aged 4 months and older.

On-site X-ray and point-of-care testing support the care delivered in a walk-in clinic. Ideal candidates have completed an accredited PA program, NC licensure or the ability to obtain, and experience in acute/urgent care

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in acute, urgent care, or emergency settings preferred.
• PA licensure in NC or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and collaborate with team.
• DOT certification is required.
• Proficient with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries in urgent care.
• Provide occupational health exams and services.
• Care for patients aged 4 months and older.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team.
