Qualifications

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred.
• Experience with suturing, abscess I&D, and reading diagnostics such as X-rays and EKGs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care beyond traditional urgent care, serving patients of all ages
• Perform procedures including EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess drainage, infection management, dislocation reduction, splinting fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration
• Serve as a role model and leader within the clinical team
• Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff, including shifts with scribes

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Nurse Practitioner
• Experience with suturing, abscess I&D, and reading diagnostics such as X-rays and EKGs
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care preferred
• ACLS and PALS certifications are a plus
