Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Central DE & NE MD

Join us at GoHealth Urgent Care as an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Central Delaware and Northeast Maryland.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with urgent care or emergency room experience, capable of treating both adult and pediatric patients. Join our diverse community of providers in DE and MD, delivering high-quality urgent care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services including treatment of acute conditions like sore throats, colds, flu symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
• Assess patients to identify serious conditions and refer to emergency services when necessary, ensuring excellent patient experiences.

Schedule Options

• Various schedules available: Full-Time, Flex (3 days/week), Part-Time (.78, .63, or .5 FTE), Weekends only, and extended hours with premium pay.

Locations

Locations in Delaware (North Wilmington/Greenville, Newark, Middletown, Dover) and Maryland (North East, Elkton). Centers operate 7 days/week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended hours soon.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year recent urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification.
• State licensure in DE and/or MD.
• Competent in minor procedures, reading EKGs, X-rays, and treating all ages.
