Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in San Antonio. Schedule includes weekdays and weekends with varied hours; patient volume is 30–60 daily in a fast-paced clinic.

Applicants must be board certified, have 3+ years Urgent Care experience, Texas license and DEA, and be locally based. AMN provides malpractice insurance and travel/lodging support for contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering urgent care to multiple age groups.
• Board-certified and eligible for state licensure.
• Must have Texas license and DEA at time of presentation.
• Locum tenens availability and ability to work in San Antonio.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services for all ages in a busy clinic.
• Manage patient flow and document patient encounters.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and staff to deliver care.

This facility is seeking a Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00a – 8:00p | Saturday 8:00a – 7:00p | Sunday 8:00a – 5:00p
• Job Setting: Daily Patient Volume is 30-60. Clinics are busy and fast paced.
• Types of Cases: Typical Urgent Care procedures/cases. Must be able to see All ages
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
• Texas License and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) required at time of presentation
• Must be Board Certified and have no less than 3 years of experience in Urgent Care
• Must be local
