Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support at an Urgent Care Center in Coppell, TX. Start date ASAP with a 7-day high-volume schedule across weekday and weekend shifts, documenting in Practice Velocity.

Must be board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Pediatrics allowed. Urgent care experience is required; credentialing around 45 days is typical, and AMN handles travel and lodging

Qualifications

• Urgent care experience is required.
• Family Medicine/EM/IM–pediatrics capable providers only.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care for general cases at an Urgent Care Center.
• Work with schedule: Mon-Sat 8am-8pm, Sun 8am-5pm.
• Coordinate care with team and document in EMR.

• Schedule: Monday - Saturday 8 am - 8 pm, Sunday 8 am - 5 pm

• Types of Cases: General urgent care cases
• Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days
• EMR: Practice Velocity
• Only considering Family Medicine/Internal Medicine (Provider who can see pediatrics) Providers. Urgent Care Experience is a must.
• Must be Board Certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
