AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in Virginia. Start is ASAP with day shifts 8a-8p; credentialing aims for completion within 60–90 days. The assignment runs 3 days per week as credentialing progresses toward a permanent hire.

Caseload spans birth to death with outpatient focus. Laceration repair, I&D, and a range of acute care skills are required; VA licensure is mandatory.

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 12 Pay Rate: $82.45 - $89.25

This facility is seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Urgent Care for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 3 days/week as soon as credentialed until perm is hired: 8a-8p
• Patients per day: patient population is birth to death and can vary from clinic to clinic, day by day
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Scope: Laceration Repair: Simple, intermediate, and complex suturing or stapling, Incision and drainage (I&D): including packing, Foreign Body Removal, Minor Burn Management, Skin Lesion Care, Orthopedic & Injury Stabilization, Splinting & Casting, Joint Reduction, Diagnostic & Point-of-Care Testing, X-Ray Interpretation, Electrocardiogram (EKG)
• State Licensure: VA license required
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
