Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Lafayette, Colorado. The role requires weekend availability with a 40-hour week and shifts of varying lengths.

Epic EMR is used, and AR experiences include suturing, drainage, splinting, and toenail removal in outpatient urgent care. Active Colorado license and certifications ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications required.
• Active Colorado license required.
• EMR EPIC experience preferred.
• Outpatient urgent care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care with suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, and toenail removal.
• Manage bread-and-butter urgent care cases and collaborate with ED when needed.
• Deliver timely patient assessment and treatment in a 40-hour week.

This facility is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 40 hour weeks with varying shift lengths. Must be able to work weekends.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient
• Type of cases: suturing, incision, drainage, splinting, toenail removal, bread and butter urgent care. Emergency Room experience required.
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 Days
• Electronic Medical Record(EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Active Colorado License
