Job summary
Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in California. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
Ideal candidates will have an active California NP license, furnishing number, DEA, and NP certification. BLS is required; ACLS preferred.
Qualifications
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license required.
- Furnishing Number and DEA registration required.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical exams.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and communicate results.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications.
- Perform common urgent care procedures within scope of practice.
