Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care, a CRH Healthcare Company, is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our East Cobb urgent care team in Georgia. You will provide autonomous, high‑quality care for a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries during three 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia NP or PA license
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
• At least two years of clinical experience as FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, wound care)
• Ability to independently interpret X-ray and other tests
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including X-rays, labs, and 12-lead EKGs
• Prescribe medications per Georgia regulations and clinic protocols
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with team to provide high-quality patient experience

Peachtree Immediate Care is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in East Cobb, Georgia. What You Will Do

As an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12‑lead EKGs
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia regulations and clinic protocols
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care
• Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high‑quality patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA‑C
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ability to independently interpret X‑rays and other diagnostic test results
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient‑service skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• Experience practicing in a fast‑paced or high‑volume clinical environment
