Job summary

Peachtree Immediate Care, a CRH Healthcare Company, is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Acworth, Georgia urgent care team. This role offers three 12-hour shifts, autonomy, and an opportunity to care for a broad range of urgent-care patients in a community setting.

As part of CRH Healthcare, you’ll deliver high-quality patient care, collaborate with a supportive team, and access resources across a growing urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia NP/PA license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic test results
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills

• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs

• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high-quality patient experience

What You Will Do

As an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Your responsibilities will include:
