Job summary

CRH Healthcare is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Peachtree Immediate Care's urgent care team in Lithonia, GA. This role involves evaluating and treating acute illnesses, performing urgent procedures, and ordering diagnostics in a fast-paced setting.

Qualified candidates hold an active GA NP or PA license with current FNP/PA certification, DEA registration, and BLS/ACLS. Experience in urgent care or high-volume clinics is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to perform common urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Ability to independently interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tests
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-service skills

What You Will Do

As an Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider, you will evaluate and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries
• Performing procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care
• Ordering and independently interpreting diagnostic tests, including X-rays, laboratory work, and 12-lead EKGs
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia regulations and clinic protocols
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Accurately and efficiently documenting patient encounters
• Collaborating with clinical and operational team members to provide a convenient, caring, and high-quality patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• At least two years of clinical experience as an FNP or PA-C
• Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain one

• Preferred Experience
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine
• Experience practicing in a fast-paced or high-volume clinical environment
