Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an urgent care provider in Columbia, SC. The role involves providing direct patient care for a variety of conditions and requires working rotating shifts between two locations in Sumter and Manning. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, with an active SC and DEA license.

This position offers a compensation range of $104,500 to $156,000 and includes a robust benefits package. The ideal candidate will have experience with EMR systems and a strong knowledge of urgent care protocols.

Qualifications

• Active SC license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Active DEA license with no restrictions.
• Ability to obtain ACLS & BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for a wide range of urgent medical conditions.
• Perform minor procedures and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement patient management plans.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens.

Skills

Experience with EMR systems

Ability to lift 50 lbs

Education
