American Family Care in Auburn, AL is seeking aCertified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC/AANP) or Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) for an urgent care role. You’ll assess, diagnose and treat patients of all ages, perform minor procedures, and collaborate with supervising physicians in a fast-paced clinic.

AFC emphasizes work-life balance, professional development and community impact. We offer competitive base pay plus performance bonuses, 1 full shift per week, 1 weekend per month, and ongoing CME

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) with an active state license.
• Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) with an active state license.
• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain within onboarding period.

Responsabilités

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute conditions, infections, and injuries.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage.
• Conduct comprehensive physicals and employment exams.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, EKGs).
• Counsel patients on care plans and preventive health strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and team members to ensure quality care.
