American Family Care (AFC) in Alabama seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our urgent care team. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, manage acute conditions, perform minor procedures, and order diagnostics in a fast-paced clinic.

We offer a competitive base pay plus performance bonuses, a structured schedule, 401(k) with match, malpractice coverage, and CME resources. Active state license required; BLS on onboarding.

Qualificações

• Urgent care experience required or preferred.
• Excellent communication with patients and team members.
• Patient-centered approach to care in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute conditions, infections, and injuries.
• Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, EKGs).
• Counsel patients on care plans and preventive health strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and team members to ensure quality care.
