Qualifications

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed in the state of practice.
• Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Michigan.
• Current DEA registration.
• DOT certification.
• BLS certification (provided if needed).
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care for patients (adult and pediatric) with appropriate resource management.
• Deliver high standard of patient satisfaction following Prisma Health Urgent Care standards in care and courtesy.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation for reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintain professional certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS or NALS) as required.
• Report to Regional Medical Director and/or Area Clinical Operations Director.
