Qualifications

• Current and valid FNP or PA license (GA)
• Advanced degree from an accredited NP/PA program
• Current DEA registration
• Experience with suturing and drainage of abscesses
• Experience reading X-rays and EKGs
• BLS certification (provided if needed)
• Credentialing eligibility per WellStreet Urgent Care
• Urgent Care/Family or Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and implement high-quality medical care with appropriate resource management
• Deliver exceptional patient satisfaction and courtesy standards
• Provide patient care in the clinical area in compliance with bylaws and policies
• Serve as a resource for patient/family and staff
• Document services accurately and maintain records
• Complete necessary documentation for reimbursement
• Participate in meetings supporting urgent care operations
• Maintain professional development and certifications (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NALS) as required
