Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a Nurse Practitioner Program (Family).
• 3+ years experience with acute care (RN, UC, ICU, critical care).
• Current New York State License as a Nurse Practitioner.
• National Board Certification required.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
• EMR/EHR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illness.
• Perform physical exams and create care plans.
• Order lab and imaging tests for treatment plans.
• Consult with specialists and refer patients as necessary.
• Vaccinate patients to immunize against diseases.
