Job summary

Essen Health Care in New York seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing multi-specialty team. You will provide advanced primary and/or specialty care, perform exams, document histories, and develop care plans for diverse patients.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, ordering tests, vaccinating, and coordinating with subspecialists within our network. New grads are encouraged to apply, NY NP license required, bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree as NP in Family or Adult Geriatrics.
Current NY NP license.
National Board Certification required.
AANP certification.
ANCC certification.
ONCC certification.
Spanish bilingual a plus.
EMR/EHR experience a plus.
New grads encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Examines, diagnoses and treats patients.
Orders or executes tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
Vaccinates patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases.
Advise patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
Consult with appropriate medical specialist when necessary; refer patient to subspecialists within network.
