Job summary

Fast Pace Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support under supervision, delivering compassionate patient service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist with triage, vitals, phlebotomy, minor procedures, and charting, while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

The role involves onboarding new staff, cross-functional teamwork, and contributing to a positive work environment with a focus on quality care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Level 1: High School Diploma or its equivalent with a current CPR license* and/or at least 1 year of experience as a certified LPN preferred in clinic setting, preferably urgent care.
• Level 2: Certified LPN with a current CPR license* and either (1) 3 years’ experience in relevant role and 1 year of Fast Pace experience in Nurse role or (2) 4 years’ experience in relevant role.
• Level 3: Certified LPN with a current CPR license* and either (1) 5 years’ experience in relevant role and 2 years of Fast Pace experience in Nurse role or (2) 6 years’ experience in relevant role OR Certified RN with a current CPR license and either (1) 3 years’ experience in relevant role and 1 year of Fast Pace experience in Nurse role or (2) 4 years experience as a Nurse.
• Level 4: Certified RN with a current CPR license* and at least 10 year as a Nurse and 1 year of Fast Pace experience.
• Level 5: Certified RN with a current CPR license* and at least 15 years as a Nurse and 2 years of Fast Pace experience.
• Level 6: Certified LPN with a current CPR license* and either (1) 5 years’ experience in relevant role and 2 years of Fast Pace experience in Nurse role or (2) 6 years’ experience in relevant role OR Certified RN with a current CPR license and either 3 years’ experience in relevant role and 1 year of Fast Pace experience in Nurse role or (2) 4 years experience as a Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all responsibilities of the Patient Care Specialist and Scribe position.
• Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all employees and build confidence.
• Deliver clinical and administrative support for the team and adhere to policies.
• Adhere to Core Values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
• Ensure Nurse activities comply with Federal and State regulations (HIPAA).
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
• Triage patients by checking vitals, blood draws, injections, etc.
• Observe patients, chart changes, and report adverse reactions and take action.
