Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Connecticut is seeking Experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for urgent care roles. You will manage acutely ill patients, perform exams, orders tests, and provide treatments in a patient‑centered setting. A bachelor’s degree and state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Urgent care or ER experience required.
• One year in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care; FM experience may count.
• Bachelor’s degree required for Physician Assistants; active licensure.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients across urgent care cases.
• Take medical histories and document progress notes.
• Order and interpret tests/X-rays; diagnose and prescribe medications.
• Treat minor injuries (sutures, splints, casting) and educate patients.
• Vaccinations and refer patients to further care as needed.
