Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or ER experience to join our Connecticut region team. The role involves treating both adult and pediatric patients, performing clinical assessments, and coordinating care within a patient-centric urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants or Master’s Degree for Nurse Practitioners.
• National Certification and active state medical licensure are required.
• 1 year of full-time Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience; 2 years in Family Medicine considered.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients in urgent care settings.
• Take medical histories and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe medications.
• Educate and counsel patients and coordinate referrals.
