Job summary

IU Health in Muncie, IN is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care clinic. The role supports patients 3 months and older with urgent care and occupational medicine services.

Responsibilities include injury and illness care, laceration care with I&D, and DOT/occupational physicals. Per diem schedule: about 3 shifts per month, with competitive, value-based compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• FNP or PA certification required.
• Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire.
• At least 6 months of urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and occupational medicine visits for ages 3 months and up.
• Perform injury/illness care, laceration and I&D, and DOT and sports physicals.
• PRN shifts: approximately 3 per month at the Muncie, IN Urgent Care clinic.
