Responsibilities

• Examine and treat patients.
• Take patient histories.
• Order and interpret tests and X-rays.
• Diagnose and prescribe medications.
• Manage minor injuries requiring sutures or casts.
• Educate and counsel patients.
• Document progress notes for follow-up.
• Refer patients to additional care.
• Work 8 or 12 hour shifts as assigned.
