NextCare is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Broomfield, CO. The schedule features three 12-hour shifts per week, with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Colorado license for NP/PA.
• 1+ year post-graduate clinical experience.
• ANCC or AANP Family Nurse Practitioner certification (NP).
• PA: NCCPA certification.
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Able to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to rotate weekends/holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and I&D.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.
