Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Aurora, Colorado is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. You will care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting, with autonomy and supportive leadership.

The position offers three 12-hour shifts per week, a full benefits package, and a competitive compensation of $60–$79 per hour plus a monthly productivity bonus. Active Colorado NP/PA license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license is required.
• ANCC or AANP FNP certification (NP) or NCCPA certification (PA).
• Active DEA license or eligibility; prescriptive authority in CO.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages.
• Manage acute illnesses, minor injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
• Perform urgent care procedures including suturing and wound care.
• Document care in the EHR and communicate discharge instructions.
