Job summary

FastMed in Rocky Mount, NC, is seeking an Urgent Care APP for a full-time role. The position requires graduation from an approved NP or PA program with NC licensure and at least one year in emergency, family, or primary care medicine. Outpatient/urgent care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved NP or PA program and NC licensure.
• At least 1 year of experience in emergency, family or primary care.
• Outpatient or urgent care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain an adequate history and perform a physical exam.
• Order labs and radiographs as needed based on evaluation.
• Make therapeutic decisions with patient input.
• Administer medications or treatments as necessary.
• Perform minor procedures when required.
