UCSF Health Medical Foundation seeks experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for urgent care positions. Roles involve treating pediatric and adult patients, performing minor procedures, and providing preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays in state-of-the-art GoHealth Urgent Care centers.

Roles offer flexible schedules including fulltime, part-time, or PRN options. Candidates with 1+ year urgent care or emergency medicine experience, bilingual English/Spanish, and a Master’s degree

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year fulltime Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience for NP/PA
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients (all ages)
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs/X-rays
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• PA: Master’s degree and NCCPA certification; NP: Master’s degree and appropriate certification

Responsabilités

• Treat pediatric and adult patients (all ages)
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, casts, splints) and provide preliminary reads of EKGs/X-rays
• Diagnose and prescribe treatments/medications
• Collaborate with Scribe and on-site Rad Techs/Medical Assistants
• Work in centers with EPIC EMR and state-of-the-art technology
